Gary Stranger – About the artist

Gary Stranger is a British artist who is world renowned for his extruded and precise typographic pieces. He began his creative journey in 1996 as a graffiti writer. Gradually his interest and love of typography came to the fore and he went on to study the subject more formally.

Gary produces his cleverly arranged works by hand, whether it be murals, originals or prints. He is particularly interested in the art of typesetting and is co-founder of ‘Typographic Circle’, - A collective of artists producing exploratory type driven pieces, both on walls and in the studio.

He is a very popular artist whose works understandably sell quickly upon release. He has shown work in numerous high profile galleries, including; Saatchi, Jealous, The Royal Academy and Whistleblower Gallery.
